Let it Snow! .....Finally!

It has been quite the fall season. It has been between 60 and 80 degrees until the second week of November. We got our first hard freeze the day before Thanksgiving! Only after that did we get temperatures in the 40's and 50's. So needless to say, we (mainly Tommy) were thrilled to wake up to enough snow for a snowman. We played all morning in the snow just in case we don't get any more. Our winters have been milder and milder as the years go on.

First, we made a snowman in our backyard. I started the balls of snow for them and then they did all the rolling.

I rolled the bottom,  Tommy rolled the middle and Eveli rolled the head. Can you guess what they wanted to call him? You got it..... Olaf. :) The arms are Tommy's work and the big boulder buttons are Eveli's. Go big or go home!

Snow Angels!

Then we went to the park for more thrills! We went down together first, but then Tommy got up the guts to go by himself! He would even pull the sled up the hill by himself. And Eveli? She was more interested in eating the snow. No matter the color! Sheesh!

We took turns pulling each other around. For some reason we don't have any pictures of me being pulled on the sled?! Curious.

How about some videos?

I apologize for a sideways video. I'm no professional.

I encourage the goofy faces, otherwise you get fake smiles, or deadpan stares. You're welcome!

And then Tommy wanted to build another snowman! I started the balls, but he did it all on his own. I can't even comprehend how fast he is growing and doing. At this rate he'll be heading off to college tomorrow!

Well, that was our fun for today! Enjoy!
